Avocado, feta cheese and toasted pine nut salad with a French dressing

Smooth homemade chicken pâté with tomato chutney and hot toast

 

Crayfish cocktail with a tomato cocktail sauce

Black pudding, chipolatas and bacon salad topped with a soft poached egg finished with a Dijon mustard dressing

Locally smoked salmon and grilled red onion relish salad

Fresh homemade spicy vegetable soup


MAIN COURSES

 

Pan fried strips of teriyaki chicken on a stir fry of spring onions, bean sprouts and noodles

 

Leg of English lamb en croute wrapped in puff pastry with a mushroom and mint filling served with a rich lamb and rosemary sauce

 

Slowly cooked beef with horseradish mash and a rich red wine sauce
 

Escalope of English pork fillet with a mushroom, onion and white wine sauce

 

Roasted supreme of cod on leek and potato puree topped with creamy peas and crispy bacon

 

Roasted Shetland salmon served on wilted lettuce and roasted peppers and topped with a pesto butter

 

Deep fried herb battered slices of aubergines layered with a red pepper salsa on a fresh tomato sauce

 

All main courses are served with a selection of fresh vegetables

 

 

DESSERTS

 

 

 Soft baked meringue topped with fresh raspberries and cream finished with a raspberry coulis

 

Vanilla panna cotta with an apple and prune butterscotch compote
