Mojac's A La Carte Restaurant

 

Christmas and New Years Eve at Mojac's

All Christmas bookings receive the traditional Christmas trimmings including crackers and party poppers.

The Restaurant is elegantly decorated for the festive season from the end of November each year, which signifies the start of the Mojac's Christmas Season.

All Christmas Party bookings require a £10 non-refundable deposit to guarantee the booking.  Credit card details are required for New Years Eve bookings.

We are open Monday to Saturday throughout December for both Lunch and Dinner and New Years Eve.

CHRISTMAS STARTERS

 

Homemade smoked haddock and spring onion fishcake with a creamy cheese sauce

 

Crispy duck salad topped with noodles served with a sweet chilli sauce

 

Smooth homemade chicken pâté with a red onion chutney and fresh tomato bread

 

Stilton and leek tart on a mini caesar salad

 

Crayfish cocktail with a tomato cocktail sauce

 

Cantelope melon with mulled berries and orange sorbet

 

Locally smoked salmon mini roulades with a caper and prawn dip

 

Fresh homemade aubergine, tomato and roasted pepper soup laced with garlic oil

 

CHRISTMAS MAIN COURSES

 

Traditional roast turkey with homemade stuffing, chipolatas, bacon roll, cranberry sauce and roast turkey gravy

 

Slowly cooked pot roast of beef on horseradish mash with a mushroom and red wine sauce

 

Braised lamb shank on crushed parsnips and finished with a chorizo and onion lamb sauce

 

Pork en croûte with a mushroom filling finished with a creamy mustard sauce

 

Roasted supreme of salmon with a crayfish, mushroom and white wine sauce

 

Pan fried oriental cod topped with spring onions, leeks and beansprouts presented on a blackbean sauce

 

Homemade fresh cannelloni with an aubergine and pepper filling on baked butternut squash

Finished with a tomato pesto dressing and melted goats cheese

Soft baked meringue topped with fresh raspberries and cream finished with a raspberry coulis

We run a two sitting option with an early bird sitting at 6.30pm dining from an A La Carte Menu option for those wishing to celebrate at midnight elsewhere

and a later sitting starting from 8.00pm for those wishing to celebrate New Years Eve at Mojac's

Included in the dinner price is party poppers, hats, and blowers!!

STARTERS

 

Smoked haddock, potatoes, peppers, cucumber with mayonnaise topped with a soured horseradish cream presented with avocado marinated in vinaigrette

 

Brie and mushroom tart on wilted lettuce, roasted peppers and onions finished with a balsamic syrup

 

Homemade smooth chicken liver pâté with homemade red onion chutney and toasted tomato bread

 

Crayfish cocktail with a tomato cocktail sauce

 

 

INTERMEDIATE

 

Fresh homemade chestnut mushroom and butterbean soup

 

MAIN COURSES

 

Roasted breast of English chicken on a bacon and wholegrain mustard mash with a chipolata sauce

 

Slowly braised lamb shank on crushed parsnips with an onion and chorizo sauce

 

Fillet steak Rossini on a croûton of bread, topped with pâté with a mushroom and sherry sauce

 

Pan fried fillets of sea bass with roasted peppers, onions and olives finished with a smoked garlic butter

 

Layers of deep fried slices of aubergine in a herb batter with red pepper salsa and a fresh tomato sauce
